Waste
The waste industry is under very stringent regulation. Sullivan Environmental Sciences have a wealth of experience dealing with the regulator on such matters to assist your understanding of waste management obligations
Waste classification – for safe removal of waste materials from your work site
Waste Management Plan (WMP) – for DAs and related construction works
Solids and liquids, hazardous and special waste – appropriate classification of these materials is required
Resource recovery – correct application can result beneficial reuses of materials and significant reduction in waste and disposal costs
Immobilisation approval – we can formulate a specific immobilisation approval (SIA) with the NSW EPA or apply general approvals under the POEO Act 1997 (NSW)
Certified Environmental Practitioner — Site Contamination
From 2017, NSW EPA policy is that all reports submitted to the NSW EPA for complying with the requirements of the Contaminated Land Management Act 1997 must be prepared, or reviewed and approved, by a Certified Environmental Practitioner Site Contamination specialist (CEnvP-SC). The majority of local councils throughout NSW have also adopted this policy in step with the NSW EPA to ensure high quality and competency of contaminated land consultants. Our Principal Scientist, Adam Sullivan, has attained CEnvP-SC status and can provide these services:

Acid Sulfate Soils
