The site is a former golf course covering an area of approximately 80 hectares, part of which is proposed for redevelopment as a new low density residential estate in the suburb of Milperra. Sullivan Environmental Sciences has been a key member of the consultant group assisting the land developer attain approval for the project. Works to date have included a detailed investigation of soil and groundwater, delineation of ash impacted filled areas, data gap investigation and delineation of pesticide impacts, preparation of RAPs for remediation of fuel infrastructure and soil/asbestos contamination, assessing asbestos contaminated dumped waste soils, preparation of a RAP for clean-up of Georges River foreshore land and ongoing engagement with various stakeholders involved in the large project.
The main residential area is under a Site Audit by a NSW EPA accredited Contaminated Land Auditor.
